Koster Titanium Dioxide RCL-69 is a rutile-type surface-treated titanium dioxide pigment manufactured by the patented chlorination method. Specifically designed for the plastics industry, its particle size distribution and surface treatment are optimized to produce high hiding power and tinting strength. The product itself has a blue background and can be applied to all kinds of polymers. Excellent dispersion and high pigment loading in thermoplastic granulation and masterbatch processing. The organic surface treatment utilizes a special hydrophobic non-polar siloxane to help reduce moisture build-up during storage. In addition, because it is relatively inert, this treatment can reduce undesirable side effects such as heat discoloration or other undesired tastes.
