EBS is white powder or solid waxy granules, non-toxic and has no side effects on human body. It is insoluble in most solvents at room temperature, and is stable to media such as acid, alkali and water. It is soluble in hot chlorinated hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons. It is wettable to water above 80°C. L-206F is used as lubricant and mold release agent. Has a high melting point and maintains a low viscosity in the molten state. In the molten state at high temperature, the resin has good compatibility with the solvent.

The product is mainly used as a lubricant in the production and processing of thermoplastic and thermosetting plastics, rubber and other polymer materials. In addition, EBS can also be used as an antistatic agent and a brightening agent in resin processing. Adding 1-3% to the emulsion of synthetic resin and rubber has good anti-sticking and anti-caking effect. When making plastics and paints, adding 0.5%-2% EBS can improve the main moisture-proof effect of salt water spray. EBS is used as a dispersant for pigments in the production of masterbatches. EBS can be used as defoamer and permanent water repellent for dyeing engineering. Phenolic resin for casting sand can be used as a release agent by adding EBS.
