Characteristic grade: insoluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents and hydrocarbons

Dioctyl Phthalate, referred to as dioctyl phthalate (DOP), is an organic ester compound and a commonly used plasticizer. It is a colorless transparent liquid with a specific gravity of 0.9861 (20/20) and a melting point of -50°C  Boiling point 386°C (normal pressure), insoluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, mineral oil, etc.
